"Black Holes" (Entry 346)
What do you avoid?
A Void in your life?
Or are you trying to be wholesome?

"Real Heroes" (Entry 336)
Where have all the heroes gone?
Was there ever a team of cape?
Are they fantasy? A childhood dream?
A figment for escape?
I see the heroes, lads and lassies,
They really do exist.
They’re in fatigues, scrubs and uniforms,
I think you know the list.
You’ll find them in the hospitals,
And on the field of battle.
You’ll find them on the streets of Britain,
Any emergency they tackle.
So don’t forget the real heroes,
Whatever job they do.
Look beyond the films and comic books.
They’re always there for you.

"Adrift" (Entry 321)
Forgotten yacht in the bay.
Have you had your salad day?
The plaything of the rich or idle,
Their interest now is at low tidal.
Once you soared on crest and wave.
To their currents and fads, you’re a slave.
Bobbing boat tied and forsaken in the rain.
Don’t you wish you were moored up in Spain?

"Safe Within" (Entry 285)
Infiltration of
Chasms beyond.
Breach beneath
The cavern
To uncover
Clandestine shards
Of secrets smashed
To smithereens.
Suppress to shield.
Enshrouded to save the soul.

"Snakes On The Brain" (Entry 263)
Snakes slide through my mind.
Overwhelming my dreams.
Following my steps.
I dart back and forth.
They watch with wonderment.
I stop to feel
Their protection.
They heal.
Fears gone.
I let go.
Awakening beyond.

"Look Back in Happiness" (Entry 254)
Sunny days.
Barmy ways.
Honeyed isles.
We stayed awhile.
Love and laughter.
Remembered ever after.
